Tärkeimpien komponenttien toimittaja on SW-Energia Turusta. Heillä on asiantuntemusta mökkien sähköistyksestä ja veneemme tulee olemaan heidän esitevene ja mahdollinen avaus venemarkkinoille.

This is not about a Mexican boat but rather about the details of the electric systems onboard Tacksamheten...

The system design is based on simplicity and safety. In order to keep things simple we will have two systems, 48V system for the propulsion motor and 12V system for the other components. The shore-power and an automatic inverter add a little flavor and comfort onboard.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This picture shows the list and location of most components. The installation will be done with ease of service in mind but we will also have to consider and maintain the authentic rustic look. Cables will be pulled on common trays that run on both sides of the boat under the sidedecks.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The principal diagram shows how the components go together

- The 48V system for the propulsion is charged with a charger / shore-power
- Or with its' own solar-panel package 4 x 2 x 50W
- The 12V system has a combined charger / inverter
- The inverter kicks in as soon as the shore-power cable is disconnected
- The 12V system also has its' own, dedicated 80W solar-panel
- The 12V consumers are controlled by their own panel with automatic fuses
- Whole system can be monitored via a touchscreen panel

Sähköpropulsio kytketään akkuihin ja ohjausyksikköön oheisen kuvan mukaisesti. Suurimpana haasteena on perinteisen talonpoikahengen ja tälläisen modernin teknologian yhdistäminen.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The electric propulsion is wired to the battery pack and the controller unit based on this principal diagram. The biggedt challenge in all of this is to maintain the rustic look of the boat but have all this technology inside...

Runko on valmis !! Hull is ready !!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
12 months of hard work. 2,000+ hours and we can now conclude that the hull is done !! It is ready for the varnishing which will take about 3 weeks...as the lumber must soak itself a secret mixture of linseed oil and...(it would not be a secret if it was revealed)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The cabin-sides are designed to mimic the old removable "freeboard" which was common on the cargo boats. These pieces are done by joining two boards together and the seam is reinforced with small plywood pieces that are fitted into their mitered slots.

Ja jälleen on miljoona puristinta työssään...

"Millions" of clamps were used in the process...

Peräpeilin jatkopala laitettiin myös paikalleen.

The final piece of the transom was added.

The beam on the doorway into the aft.cabin was too high as designed so we decided to drop it down to the same level as the floor in between the cabins. This way it will be easier to go in and out of the aft cabin.

Keulassa on poikittaispalkit paikallaan ja tila on aika selkeä ja turvallinen.

The seating area up in the bow is taking shape with the cross beams in place. It appears nice, deep and safe.

Sivusarjat tuovat jo hieman selkeyttä sisätilojen hahmottamiseen. Suurelta vaikuttaa...Hytti tulee allaolevassa kuvassa näkyvien kahden poikattaispalkin väliin. Avotila on peräänpäin otetussa kuvassa näkyvien palkkien välissä.

With the cabin-sides in place it is easier to get a feeling of the space inside the boat...It is large !! The cabin is located between the two large crossbeams on the top picture. The picture looking aft shows the crossbeams that define the location of the seating area outside between the cabins

Toki tarkoitus on kulkea hytin läpi...

The side-decks are relatively wide and safe to walk on although the main flow of traffic is through the cabin...

There are a ton of plugs in the hull to cover screws, large branches that had made a hole in the plank, etc.

Yksityiskohdat ovat kauniita...

Details are beautiful and show great deal of craftmanship.
