Aft cabin is now pretty much ready. The final wiring and plumbing work needs to be completed. The original intention was to have bunks in this cabin but after a few revisions on the drawing board we decided to utilise the whole space as a roomy toilet and lazarette for sails, rain gear, ropes, etc.
Homma lähti liikkeelle turkkitason ja vessanpytyn paikan määrittämisellä...Pytty on Dometic, sähköpumpulla ja silppurilla varustettu merivesivessa. Eli se huuhtelee merivedellä septitankkiin. Septitankin imutyhjennys on sivukannella. Meillä ei ole mitään mahdollisuutta johtaa jätevesiä mereen.

The outfitting started by determining a good floor height and the location for the WC-bowl. This is a raw-water toilet with a built-in macerator pump. The only discharge is to the septic tank which can be emptied through a fitting on the side-deck. We do not have a possibility to discharge black water into the sea.

Webasto asennettiin peräpeilin keskelle ja ylös. Näin se on poissa tieltä ja toimintavarmassa paikassa.
Webasto heating system was installed on the transom and up close to the ceiling. This way it is out of the way and still within easy reach.
Vaatenaulakon alapuolinen tasanne toimii penkkinä.
The platform under the hanging locker can be used as a bench.
WC-pytyn asennus ja septitankin putkitus onnistui pienellä vaivalla. Tankki tuli ilman liittimiä jolloin oli mahdollista löytää parhaat mahdolliset paikat putkille...
The installation of the WC-bowl and the septic tank was relatively easy and straight forward. The tank had no fittings ready so it was easy to customise the location of each fitting to suit the installation.
Pesualtaaksi valitsimme vanhan emalivadin. Pumppu on käsikäyttöinen...
The wash basin is a recycled / repurposed and the water pump is a traditional, manual pump.
Takakulmaan tuli hyvänkokoinen kolo keulapurjeita varten. Vessanpytyn taakse tehtiin myös hylly työkalupakille.
The staysails can be stored in this "locker". We also made a little shelf for the toolbox.

The hanging locker is placed between the beams.
